  1. Internal Quality Insurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Insurance Cell (IQAC) plays vital role in enrichment of the quality of the college, we may say that IQAC is the pivot of all the committees/cells. It does all the planning to be executed by the different Committees appointed by the College. It organizes workshops, seminars, etc for improvement of teaching – learning process from time to time.

2. Research Committee:

This committee deals with all kind of research works either minor or major and also it supervises any kind of project work.


Facilitating, promoting and monitoring researches.

Objectives of Research Committee

  • To develop research in any discipline, especially  work-based

  • To organize and maintain personal communication among experts from different fields with common interests.

  • To disseminate information and publish scholarly research and books.

  • To provide framework between individuals and institutions concerned with teaching and research in the field.

  • To encourage and support teachers and students to undertake all kinds of researches ranging from projects, minorand major.

  • To monitor the growth and development of research undertaken by faculty and students.

  • To motivate faculty and students to innovate, write and publish creative writing.

  • To work in close tandem with the Editorial Committee of the College and the IQAC.

3. Academic Committee:

Academic Committee deals with matters relating in planning, organizing; teaching learning, evaluation, admission procedure, internal and external exams, academic calendar, felicitation, awards and others award of acknowledgement for meritorious students etc.


The Academic Committee is to provide oversight of all matters relating to the Highersecondary and undergraduate educational programmes and all research programmes.  Committee members seek the commitment of faculty and administrators in ensuring that academic priorities are unambiguously stated, appropriately funded, and consistent with the overall educational mission of the Institute.


  • To make proposals for college-based research and other academic activities;

  •  To arrange a programme of academic activities for the college

  • To discuss and make suggestions to the Principal on any academic matters in which the College may have an interest (excepting those concerning individual appointments)

  • To make recommendations on major questions of admissions policy, including the numbers to be admitted annually and other issues affecting the general composition and balance of the student body, and reporting annually on the advice of the Tutor for Admissions.

4. Editorial Board:

Mainly this Board deals with all kinds of publishing, especially the annual college magazine.

5. Extension Cell:

It deals with all kinds of community’s extension activities like lending support to the community, environmental consciousness, study tours, excursions, etc.

6. Sports Committee:

Maintenance of all sport materials, conduction of sport activities, participation in any sport activities invite by others, conduct college week etc.

7.Disaster Management Cell:

This cell manages all kinds of disaster events, like conducting awareness programmes/mock- drill, prepares the college disaster management plan, provides helps when disasters strike, etc.


 Creation of authentic and accurate database, respond plans, documented and rehearsed to be activated in the shortest possible time through fail-proof communication ensuring active participation by students and staff of the college Community and volunteers at all levels, making optimal utilization of persons, materials and resources with no gaps overlaps to prevent loss of life and minimize loss to property while ensuring restoration at the earliest.

8. Arts & Culture Cell:

Maintenance of indigenous instruments, promoting culture and traditional heritage among the students etc.

10. Student Welfare Section (Grievance Cell):

SWS plays a vital role in students’ welfare of the college, ensuring anti-ragging, maintaining students attendance and regularity, providing basic facilities to students, supervising Students’ Council etc.

11. Add-on Course Committee:

Supervising all certificate courses/ Diploma courses etc. run by the College.

12. Information & Career Guidance and Counselling Cell:

The College has established this Cell in view of helping students to get useful and systematic guidance on careers open to them in their respective field of study. The Career Guidance Committee members along with the Coordinator of the Cell chalk out various enrichment programmes as well as conduct coaching classes in order to train the students to answer various competitive examinations. An attempt is made to hold campus recruitments for the benefit of those students who are pursuing professional and vocational courses of study.


  • To provide information and guidance to students to choose prospective educational lines suitable to them.

  • To study job potentials available in the job market.

  • To establish contact with Companies/Organization to invite them for Campus Recruitment and Placement.

  • To encourage students to appear for the competitive exams and public services.

  • To keep track of pass out students’ job profile and placement.

13. Cooperative Society:

Upon the approval of the Governing Body of the College, in order to establish an organization that unites and safeguarding the security, promote individual and collective right and foster harmonious, agreeable and progressive relation among the staff of the College, a co-operative society is formed with the following


  •  Improve the general welfare of the faculty of the College.

  • To promote the interest and objectives of the College.

  • To promote cooperation among the faculty, staff, students, administration, other campus entities, and the community.

  • To promote and uplift of the quality of life of its members through mutual and cooperative assistance;

  • To collect, invest and reinvest all fund and income coming to it and hold the same for the benefit of the Cooperative;

  • To work with the non-government and government organizations/entities in the promotion and development of the society.

  • To undertake other activities for the effective and efficient implementation of the provisions of the Cooperative code.

16. Parents’ Association:

This association plays an important role in maintaining the mutual understanding between the teachers and parents for the students and community as a whole.

17. Library Committee:

Making rules and regulations for library, maintaining all kinds of library requirements etc.


  • The main aims and objectives of the committee is to support and help the college in
